Ventilation is required year-round to supply fresh air and to ensure risk of airborne infection are mitigated. Furthermore, continuous mechanical supply and extract with heat recovery is able to retain up to 95% of heat, that would otherwise have been lost from the extract air, using it to pre-heat the supply air in an efficient and effective way.
