Project Information
Preliminary preparations were necessary for us to survey the site and assess proposed locations for kiosks, barriers, ANPR, CCTV, comms cabinets and utility installations, and verify that all proposed ducting, cable troughs, and service routes were suitable for installation. The condition of existing infrastructure, including LV switchrooms, water mains, and fire hydrants were also reviewed in readiness for new connections and installation and to ensure project drawings accurately represented the components.

Delivery
In the Eastern Docks area of the site, we installed power and data connections to kiosks, barriers, ANPR, CCTV, wireless points, lane cameras, and comms cabinets, and supplied and installed distribution enclosures to ensure termination of cabling to designated equipment. We also provided power and utilities to the Western Docks Coach Area and holding lanes, connected utilities for toilets and buildings including cold water supplies and fire hydrants, and installed the power cabling to the new LV switchroom and comms cabinets, terminating SWAs into the LV panel.
General works included installing power cabling for high mast lighting and terminating into feeder pillars; providing power connections for fire hydrants and water mains; design and install the BMS fire alarm system and ensuring all components are integrated with the LV switchroom and associated systems.
As-built documentation was provided, reflecting final installation layouts for power, data, water, and fire hydrant systems, including the schematics for the LV switchroom, BMS, and fire alarm system; as well as the delivery of O&M manuals for all installed systems to ensure stakeholders were fully briefed.
