MOD Building

Many say the boiler room is the brains of the building.

This particular ‘brain’ had been taking some time out. A redundant building on an MOD site is due to be refurbished, transformed and future-proofed. Its boiler room needed a complete upgrade of equipment and pipework to service the building and its end users, with hot water and heating.

Delivery

Everything was stripped from the existing boiler room. Only a water cylinder remained before we installed and ran pipework for 4 condensing boilers with an open flue system, and 5 new circuits (3 variable temp and 2 CT).

ECO were asked to turn this upgrade around, to be fully functioning and commissioned, in just three weeks which required long hours, and working through the weekends, but we’re always up for a challenge, and we succeeded!
