Pontoon Upgrade, Dover Marina

Installation of electrical and mechanical services for new pontoon layout within Dover Marina at Wellington Docks.

A preliminary site survey was necessary to verify the condition of proposed locations of the pontoons, main service routes and scope of strip out works.

Following the review of project drawings and confirming the readiness of relate components with the main contractor and other stakeholders, data cabling was laid for CCTV masts, and SWA cabling for feeder pillars, bollards and pedestals.

Other components were installed, such as pedestals with interlocked sockets and water supplies; feeder pillars mounted onto concrete plinths; lighting and SOS bollards; gate access control cabling and equipment; WiFi columns; data cabinets; and bulkhead lighting to quayside buildings.

As-built documentation was provided, reflecting the final installations to present a complete system for inspection and approval by the client or designated representatives.
